Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 8 June 2026
ACLT Design is committed to making its website accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of ability or technology. Accessibility is also central to the work we do for clients — building sites that everyone can use is part of building them well.
1. Our standard
We have designed and built this website to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA where practical, and to meet our duties under the Equality Act 2010. We treat accessibility as an ongoing effort rather than a one-off task.
2. What we've done
- Semantic, structured HTML so screen readers can navigate the content logically.
- Descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images.
- Colour combinations chosen for sufficient contrast against their backgrounds.
- A layout that adapts to phones, tablets, and desktops, and supports zooming.
- Keyboard access to interactive elements such as links, buttons, and the contact form.
- Respect for the operating system's "reduced motion" setting, so animations are minimised for people who prefer that.
3. Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible. In particular, the linked demonstration websites and some richly animated sections may not all meet Level AA. We are working to improve these and welcome being told where we fall short.
4. Reporting a problem
If you experience any difficulty using this website, or need information from it in a different format, please contact us — we'll do our best to help and to put things right.
- Email: hello@acltdesign.com
We aim to respond within five working days.
5. Enforcement
The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing the Equality Act 2010. If you contact us with a complaint and are not happy with our response, you can find out more about your rights at equalityhumanrights.com.
