This policy explains how ACLT Design ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit our website or enquire about our services. We are committed to handling your data lawfully and transparently under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

2. The data we collect
- Enquiry data — when you contact us or request a project, we collect your name, email address, phone number, business name, and the contents of your message.
- Client data — if you become a client, we collect information needed to deliver the service (billing details, business information, login credentials for accounts we manage on your behalf, and content you provide for your website).

4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with trusted service providers ("processors") who help us run our business, including:
- Website and email hosting providers
- Our website analytics provider
- Our contact-form provider
- Payment processors (for billing clients)
- Call-tracking providers (for clients, where a tracked number is installed)
Some providers may process data outside the UK/EEA. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy decisions.
5. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for up to 24 months after last contact. Client and financial records are kept for at least 6 years to meet UK accounting and tax requirements. After these periods we securely delete or anonymise your data.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to our use of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these, email hello@acltdesign.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
7. Data security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections, access controls, and reputable hosting providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your information safe.
